Seligsberg, Alice

Seligsberg, Alice
(1873-1940)
   American social worker. Born in New York, she was in charge of the American Zionist unit that went to Palestine in 1918. From this beginnning, she helped to develop Hadassah's medical programme. She was national president of Hadassah (1920-1).
